It is learnt that the Election Commission had set side the complaint of BJP leader Shivratan Sharma against Congress legislator Anila Bhedia due to which even that vote was counted.

The supporters burst out celebrations as they heard the final announcement of victory of their leader.

As to which way the legislators cast their votes, it is now known that while legislators Amit Jogi along with Congress MLAs RK Rai and Siyaram Kaushik did not vote at all, the independent legislator Vimal Chopda and BSP MLA Keshav Chandra may have voted in favour of Saroj Pandey.
