SC objects to naming of BJP leaders in ‘Love Jihad’ case

The Supreme Court bench, while hearing the case of ‘Love Jihad’ in Kerala, objected to advocate naming some of the BJP leaders and directed him to refrain from doing so until it has direct bearing on the case. Actually the two advocates argued their side of the case vehemently and in this context one of the lawyer actually mentioned some of the top BJP leaders and expressed apprehension that there may be political motives behind drumming up this case. It was then that Chief Justice Dipak Misra directed the advocate not to name BJP leaders as they don’t have direct bearing on this case.
