The screenplay writer of the well known movie ‘Ab Tak Chhappan’ has allegedly committed suicide.
The 32-year-old took the extreme action in Mumbai, police said.
Ravi Shankar Alok was a resident of Seven Bungalows area in Andheri West.
He is said to have ended his life by jumping off from the roof of the building.
He may have committed the act around 2 PM on Wednesday, a police official said.
Ravi Shankar Alok garnered enough praise for his writing of Nana Patekar-starrer ‘Ab Tak Chhappan’.
Police claims to have not found a suicide note on his body or in his house.
As per the preliminary information, he was suffering from depression and was undergoing psychiatric treatment, he said.>
