It could have been another congregation of the Shikshakarmis to demand merger related longstanding demand but they have been administered oath that smacks political.
While the first oath is that the Shikshakarmis would complete their responsibilities and other duties as prescribed, the second oath is that they would vote in a government that is democratic and accountable.
The Shikshakarmis have pledged to continue to create awareness to this end as well.
This oath taking ceremony is being held across the 90 legislative segments of the state.
The oath would surely concern the state government which has so far not yet been able to decide on whether to
extend merger to the Shikshakarmis.
This comes as the Chhattisgarh is due to hold elections later this year.
The third pledge being administered is also crucial in that the Shikshakarmis would continue to work towards merger with the education department.
