Shiv Sena reacted sharply to prevailing Goa situation

remarks were made by state Shiv Sena President Jitesh Kamat after he met Goa Governor Mridula Sinha

As the media reported on how governance is being carried out in Goa, the Shiv Sena said that not just the state cabinet but the entire Goa Assembly should be shifted to the AIIMS in New Delhi.

The potshot came about as the ailing Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has been hospitalised there for quite some time.

The remarks were made by state Shiv Sena President Jitesh Kamat after he met Goa Governor Mridula Sinha.

During the meeting, he demanded dismissal of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led coalition government and dissolution of the Assembly.

Kamat went on to allege that governance in Goa had come to a standstill.

It need be mentioned that Goa CM Manohar Parrikar is undergoing treatment for advanced pancreatic cancer in the national capital.

Mr Parrikar is also meeting members of the core committee of the state BJP unit.
