Shiv Sena threatens to quit alliance; heres what Devendra Fadnavis said to it
With Shiv Sena announcing that the party will go in alone in 2019 national election, the Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis chose to downplay the threat of nearing the end of political alliance.
Interestingly, CM Fadnavis went on to claim that ‘we are used to it’.
Speaking on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum jamboree in Davos, Fadnavis said that Shiv Sena leaders have been saying many things but asserted that his government will complete its full term.
It need be mentioned that Shiv Sena and BJP have been in alliance since long but lately, things have gone sour between the two parties.
The two parties have shared an uneasy alliance with Shiv Sena openly criticising BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.>
