Shraddha Kapoor, has been preparing to play Saina Nehwal for a long time and she recently began shooting for the much-anticipated biopic on the badminton star.
However, the Batti Gul Meter Chalu actor has just been diagnosed with dengue and had to take a unplanned break from the shoot of the film.
According to a report, Shraddha has been resting after she got the news, and will return to the film sets after a few weeks. A source was quoted saying, “Shraddha started feeling unwell a few days into the schedule. She stopped shooting on September 27 after a checkup revealed that she has dengue.”
“She is expected to return to the film’s set in a couple of days. Meanwhile, Amole continues to shoot portions featuring the child actor who portrays the younger Saina, and other supporting artists,” the source added.
