State-level Geologists’ Board meet on 26th July

Minerals Resources Board Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh will preside over the meeting

Directorate of Geology and Mining will conduct a State-level Geologist Programme Board’s 18th sitting on 26th July in the capital.

Minerals Resources Board Secretary Mr. Subodh Kumar Singh will preside over the meeting.

Directorate of Geology and Mining officials said that senior officers and scientists connected with the excavation of minerals at the Chhattisgarh State level and Union Government will participate in the meet.

The officials will review the works done regarding the detection and excavation of minerals during 2017-2018 and prepare a master plan for the ensuing fiscal year 2018-2019.

The Department officials said that scientists-officers related to-Indian Geologists’ Survey, Atomic Minerals’ Research Institute, Central Mine Planning and Designing Institute, Central Institute of Mining Fuel Research, Minerals Exploration Corporation Limited, Indian Mining Bureau, Central Underground water Survey Department, National Minerals’ Development Corporation (N.M.D.C.), Air-Borne Exploration Division will participate.

The State Government officers from the – Forest Department, Finance Department, Planning, Industry and Water Resources Department, Chhattisgarh Scientific and Technology Council, Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board, Chhattisgarh Minerals’ development Corporation Professors of the Geology Department Ravi Shankar Shukla University Raipur had also been invited for the meeting.
