Nutritious food (Take Home Ration) in 45 districts of the state will be supplied by seven plants operated by women self-help groups.
Nutrition food plants of 2500 metric tonne capacity by Rs 16 crore each in Dewas, Dhar, Shivpuri, Mandala, Rewa and Sagar and 600 metric tonne capacity monthly by Rs 13 crore in Hoshangabad are being set up the rural development department.
The plants will be operated by woman self help groups of cooperative societies. The dividend to be obtained by plants will be distributed in cooperative societies of woman self help groups of all districts concerned.
Production of nutritious food is possible to start in Dewas from November 1, 2018, in Dhar from November 15, 2018, Hoshangabad from November 30, 2018 and in Mandala, Shivpuri, Sagar and Rewa from January 15, 2019.
Registration of societies have been completed in Dhar, Dewas and Hoshangabad. Process is underway in remaining districts.
Process for selecting necessary staff has been completed for the plants. Nutritious food will be provided from these plants in all other divisions except Bhopal division. Madhya Pradesh Agro Industries Development Corporation will supply nutritious food in Bhopal division.
Children from six month to three years, pregnant women and women feeding baby, teen aged girls will be provided nutritious food of fixed quality and quantity (take home ration) six days in a week from nutritious food plants.
Nutritious food will be supplied to Shajapur, Ujjain, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Agar Malwa, Indore and Burhanpur and Dewas districts too from the plant in Dewas. 21000 metric tonne nutritious food worth Rs 126.60 crore will be supplied by the plant in Dewas.
The dividend of estimated Rs 19 crore will be distributed among cooperative societies of woman self help groups. Similarly, Dhar, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Badwani, Khargone and Khandwa will be associated with the plant in Dhar.
Through the supply of 31000 metric tonne nutritious food worth Rs 186 crore per year, dividend of Rs 27.08 crore will be distributed to cooperative societies of the districts associated with plant of Dhar.
Betul and Harda districts, including Hoshangabad will be associated with the plant of Hoshangabad. Dividend of estimated Rs 4.96 crore will be distributed to cooperative societies of the districts through supply of 5500 metrict tonne nutritious food worth Rs 33 crore per year.
18000 metric tonne nutritious food worth Rs 108 crore will be supplied per year from Mandala for districts including Mandala, Chhindwara, Seoni, Balaghat, Dindori, Jabalpur, Anooppur and Umaria.
The dividend of Rs 16 crore from this will be distributed among cooperative societies of the districts.
Sheopurkalan, Morena, Bhind, Datia, Gwalior, Guna, Shivpuri and Ashok Nagar districts will be associated with the plant set up in Shivpuri district.
18000 metric tonne nutritious food worth Rs 108 crore will be supplied from this plant and estimated dividend Rs 16 crore will be distributed among the concerned cooperative societies.
Katni, Damoh, Panna, Chhatarpur and Tikamgarh and Sagar districts will be associated with the plant in Sagar district.
Dividend of Rs 18 crore will be distributed among cooperative societies concerned by the supply of 20000 metric tonne nutritious food of worth Rs 120 crore.
Similarly, Rewa, Shahdol, Sidhi, Satna and Singarauli districts will receive nutritious food from the plant in Rewa.
It is estimated to distribute Rs 21 crore dividend among cooperative societies concerned by supply of 23000 metric tonne nutritious food of worth Rs 138 crore.>
