Supreme Court summons report from expert on Meghalaya miners’ rescue

In the infamous case of Meghalaya miners, the apex court today directed that one hydrologist, from National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee will go to Meghalaya & submit a report after two weeks.

The report to be submitted will be in connection with the operation that were being carried out to rescue the miners.

It need be mentioned that many a miners had been trapped in one of illegal mines of Meghalaya.

The episode had garnered national headlines and also raised many a questions.
