With an aim to encourage Hackathon culture in rural India, the Telangana Information Technology Association ( TITA) is conducting India’s biggest hackathon.
It is being done with the support of NASA, IBM, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh government, FIXCELL, JNTUH, Exhibition Society and others.
The is to be held in the month of October with an expected over 20,000 participants pitching about 500 projects.
The orientation programs (non-stop 24 hours) for Hackathon will kickstart from October 5 in various schools, colleges and universities.
Hackathon’s grand finale with over 1000 shortlisted participants will be on October 20t and 21 in Nampally Exhibition Grounds.
Students will find the solutions for NASA SpaceAPP Challenges, Smart City Challenges, Cyber Security Challenges, and Mobile App Challenges.
The idea is to collaboratively develop codes, designs, ideas or presentations in an extreme manner, to start from scratch for a given challenge.
It’s a competition where teams come together to design and build nice products, ideas or presentation.>
