A tiger from Chandrapur region killed a farmer in Anhandingi village of Amravati district.
This is being said to be the second such attack from the predator lurking around in the area.
It is said that the earlier attack was when the tiger killed another farmer in Mangrul Dastagir village, about
10 kilometres away from Anhandingi.
As per speculations, the victim, Moreshwar Walke, had gone to his farm when he was apparently attacked by the tiger.
Rurals found his badly mutilated body later on his farm.
It is also said that the both the attacks led to the head being severed from the torso.
The two incidents have caused a lot of public anger with people demanding a quick end to the tiger menace.
It’s natural for them to wander over farmlands, during which such conflicts are slated to only grow further.>
