To avenge ill-treatment meted out to Jadhav’s family; BJP leader orders slipper for Pak embassy

As there is anger and frustration across the nation over treatment meted out to the wife and mother of Kulbhushan Jadhav as they met him in Pakistan, a Delhi BJP leader perhaps has gone too far in registering protest.

The BJP leader Tajinder Bagga tweeted how he has ordered a pair of slippers to be delivered to Pakistan High Commission apparently to avenge the ill-treatment meted out to two women in Islamabad.

He also posted screenshot of his order and urged his followers to do the same.

It need be mentioned that Pakistani authorities had asked Jadhav’s mother Avanti and wife Chetankul to change their clothes, remove bangles, mangalsutras and bindis before meeting Jadhav in the Foreign Office in Islamabad on Monday.

The Pakistan authorities didn’t return Chetankul’s pair of shoes alleging that it carried a metallic substance, possibly a bug.

“Pakistan wants our slippers. Let’s give them slippers. I have ordered slippers and sent to Pakistan High Commission. I request everyone to order (a) pair of slippers for Pakistan. After ordering slippers, tweet your order’s screenshot with #JutaBhejoPakistan,” Bagga said in a tweet.
