To mark Int’l Women’s Day, Congress tweets promise to pass women’s reservation bill, if voted to power

Keen to woo the voters ahead of the parliamentary election, Congress is now promising to pass the Women’s Reservation Bill if it is voted into power.

Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia tweeted how his party is committed to seeing through on the passage of this crucial bill in the Parliament.

The party reiterated its commitment on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

It remains to be seen how Congress manages to fare in the election with big promises like women’s reservation bill as well as minimum income guarantee scheme.
