Raipur: As per instructions from Working President CG State Legal Service Authority (CGSLSA), Bilaspur Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra, a massive Lok Adalat was organised in all the tehsils, district courts for sort out pending revenue cases and a total of 84,649 cases were finally disposed off in this Lok Adalat held on Aug 31.
In this the highest of 11684 cases were sorted out from Raipur district; 8229 from Balodabazar district; 7580 fom Rajnandgon district; 7042 from Janjgir- Champa district; 5835 from Surajpur district; 4890 from Balrampur district; 4386 from Bemetara district and 3579 from Korba district and in the same cases were sorted out from other places as well. In this massive Lok Adalat, cases not only related to revenue, but those of mutation, demarcation, division of land/ accounts; caste certificate; domicile certificate; income certificate and other cases to revenue department were finalised.
This Lok Adalat was organised keeping in mind large number of revenue related cases in the state. Giving information about this massive Lok Adalat, CGSLSA, Bilaspur- member Secretary Siddharth Agrawal informed that seeing large number of revenue cases in different courts of state, SLSA Working President Prashant Kumar Mishra directed to organised this Lok Adalat for Revenue Cases only and in this a total of 301 benches were formed seeing the large number of revenue cases pending.
National Lok Adalat on Sept 14 On Sept 14, the National Lok Adalat will be oragnised and in this the pending court cases from all districts and tehsil level will be put up for hearing and disposal. If any person wants to get his or her case sorted out in Lok Adalat, then he can apply in concerned court or District Legal Service Authority.
