Traders plead before Supreme Court; ask of interim relief from ban on sale of fire crackers

A delegation of traders pleaded before Supreme Court and urged for reconsideration of decision to ban sale of fire crackers in Delhi and national capital region during Diwali. The traders argued that since the apex court had provided interim relief on September 12, the licenses for sale of fire crackers had been renewed and traders bought lots of fire crackers to later sell it off in the market. The traders urged for relief in the order as they would have to sustain financial loss due to this sudden ban on sale of fire crackers.
