With tension rising in Syria and the situation worsening, US President Donald Trump is yet to make a final decision on how to respond to an alleged chemical weapons attack by the Bashar al-Assad regime.
This was confirmed by even the White House.
The information given out suggested that the US President met with his national security advisors on the issue.
She said Trump was to confer with French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Theresa May later in the day on the action to be taken against the Assad regime.
She said that the process of assessing intelligence is on and engagement with the partners is also continuing.
Trump had previously said that the Assad regime and Russia – both of whom he says are responsible for the chemical weapons attack – would have to pay a price.>
