Turkey & Uzbekistan Resume Flights to Kabul, India Yet to Decide on Resumption of Services

While the Indian government is yet to take a final decision on resumption of flights to Kabul, a flight from Turkey and Uzbekistan will be landing at the Hamid Karzai International Airport on Thursday, reported International Radar.

Kabul: This is the first time Kabul is hosting commercial flights from the two countries after the Taliban takeover, reported The Khaama Press News Agency.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in a letter asked the Indian government to resume their commercial flights to Afghanistan.

India’s decision on the resumption of commercial flights to Afghanistan is still under review. “The decision to resume flights to Kabul is under review by the Ministry of Civil Aviation,” an official of the ministry said.
