Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau loves diversity and never fails to flaunt it also. On Tuesday as well, he took to Twitter and wished people a Happy Diwali.
But how? He posted a picture of him dressed in a black ‘sherwani’ and lighting a traditional Indian lamp during celebrations in Canada’s capital Ottawa.
But as he said ‘Diwali Mubarak’, very many from social media just could not hold back anymore and started giving all kinds of suggestions.
Trudeau known for his commitment to cultural diversity in Canada wrote, “Diwali Mubarak! We’re celebrating in Ottawa tonight. #HappyDiwali!”.
Twitterati made it clear that Diwali and Mubarak just don’t go hand in hand that much. Many of the Twitter users were upfront and unapologetic about their freedom of expression.>
