Rahul Gandhi Congress President today created quite a political storm after he hugged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Lok Sabha at the end of his speech during the no-confidence motion debate.
Shortly after that, Gandhi was seen sitting on his seat and giving a quick wink. The image of Rahul winking has reminded the netizens of another person who had taken the internet by storm just a few months ago: actress Priya Prakash Varrier.
Varrier had quickly become the Internet’s heartthrob after a clip of her winking in a song from her debut film Oru Adaar Love went viral on social media, earning her accolades.
On Friday, as the Parliament witnessed unprecedented drama during the no-trust vote debate, thanks to Gandhi’s gestures of a ‘jhappi’ and a ‘wink’, Twitteratis could not help but compare the two epic winks of our times.

The Bharatiya Janata Party, along with its allies, is expected to win the no-confidence debate with a comfortable majority after the Shiv Sena boycotted today’s session, bringing down the magic number to prove majority to 249.
