Two jawans injured in IED blast; in restive Bijapur

At least two jawans have been injured in an IED blast within the Tarlaguda police station limits in Bijapur.

The IED may have been planted by the red rebels or naxals.

Reports received indicate

that the IED blast took place when the jawans were on the area domination exercises

.

The injuries sustained by the jawans in said to be grave as they have been flown to capital Raipur for better medical care.

The injuries to the jawans has also been confirmed by the Superintendent of Police Mohit Garg.

The jawans have been identified as constables Bhuvaneswar Yadav and Puran Singh.

Both of them are said to belong to Chhattisgarh Armed Forces XII battalion.
