Union Min RK Singh all praise for Cgarh’s power infra

Central Government had decided in principle to install Smart Metres at residences, shops and industries

Union Minister of State for Electricity (Independent charge) Mr R. K. Singh today appreciated the State Government for its spectacular achievements in the electricity sector.

He was reviewing the implementation of Union Energy Ministry projects in Chhattisgarh.

The Union Minister of State said that the Chhattisgarh Government had done remarkable work during the past 15 years.

Other states should also emulate this model.

The Central Government had decided in principle to install Smart Metres at residences, shops and industries.

Minister R. K. Singh said that Union Government provides financial assistance to the State for developing power infrastructure but Chhattisgarh Government had spent around Rs 12 thousand crores on its own on electricity generation, transmission and distribution to the last village and interiors of the State.
