The discontent amid the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh is not over yet.
Or so it seems.
This is because the BJP ally and UP cabinet minister Om Prakash Rajbhar, who had earlier raised voice against the Yogi Adityanath administration, has now targeted the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Head of the Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party, he has four MLAs of the party.
But Rajbhar said that people might choose someone else over Modi in the next election as nothing great has been done by his government so far.
This is by far the most hard hitting statement given by a BJP ally ever since Narendra Modi came to power in 2014.
He said that people voted in Modi because of being unhappy with the Congress.
Rajbhar went on to ask what good the government has done so far?
During the Rajya Sabha elections in March, Rajbhar had raised questions over working of UP CM Yogi Adityanath and had alleged that the chief minister was not following “coalition dharma”.
Rajbhar had left the saffron party red-faced and had even threatened that his four MLAs would boycott voting.>
