Uttar Pradesh government has sent a team of three ministers for coordination with Uttarakhand government in rescue and search operation.

The team met with the Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat yesterday. Minister of sugarcane development in Uttar Pradesh Government Suresh Rana told AIR that two dead bodies of labourers from Uttar Pradesh have been recovered from the debris till date and the search of the other missing persons hailing from Uttar Pradesh is still on.

He said that around 60 persons of Uttar Pradesh are affected in this calamity and 13 of them survived and reached their places in the state. He said that a control room in Haridwar is active 24×7 for the persons of UP missing in this natural calamity.
