Vehicle overturns in Srinagar; more than 18 troopers injured

In a major accident, at least 19 CRPF personnel were injured early on Sunday morning in Srinagar.

The accident took place when the vehicle turned over after the driver lost control.

The accident took place near the Bemina headquarter of the paramilitary force, police sources said.

Police said that at least 21 personnel were on board the vehicle which was part of a three-vehicle convoy.

The injured were taken to JVC Hospital nearby where from seven of them were shifted to the Army’s Base Hospital here.

It is also known that at least one CRPF personnel is critical.
