With the national election nearing, the saffron outfit Vishwa Hindu Parishad has assured of backing Congress if it includes Ram Mandir in its manifesto for national election ahead.
This is also being seen as a warning for the BJP over the delay in construction of Ram Mandir.
Speaking to the media during the Kumbh in Prayagraj, VHP executive vice-president Alok Kumar made a statement to this effect.
Kumar’s statement came days before VHP’s Dharm Sansad on January 31.
The Sansad will include right-wing outfits further stepping up pressure on the BJP government at the Central level to pave way for Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
