The Government of India Housing Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra took part in the heritage walk held in state capital Raipur.
He was full of praise for the initiative of the Mor Raipur club to connect the people with their roots and heritage.
He also met the members of the club and volunteers in the presence of the Chhattisgarh Urban Administration Secretary Rohit Yadav and other officials.
Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra visited Budha Talab, Budheshwar Mandir as well as Sheetala Mata and Mahamaya Mandir as part of the heritage walk.
Mahaveer Vyayam Shaala and Hanumanji Ki Bawli as well as Jaitusav Mutth were other such heritage sites which were visited by the visiting official.
The official also took keen interest in the activities of the Mor Raipur club and was told that students from leading educational institutions are taking active part in the club.>
