Wage payment of Rs 371 crore to the tendupatta collectors in Cgarh

This amount has been transferred online into the accounts of tendupatta labourers. Procurement of tendupatta was done through 10 thousand procurement centres under Primary Forest Produce Cooperative Societies

Till date, incoming of 14 lakh 84 thousand standard sacks of tendupatta from forests of Chhattisgarh has been recorded. Wages worth nearly Rs 371 crore has been paid to the labourers for tendupatta collection.

This amount has been transferred online into the accounts of tendupatta labourers. Procurement of tendupatta was done through 10 thousand procurement centres under Primary Forest Produce Cooperative Societies at the rate of Rs 2500 per standard sack.

This has benefitted nearly 13 lakh forest dwellers associated with 915 cooperative socities under 32 Forest Divisions of state.

Maximum number of tendupatta sacks i.e. one lakh 52 thousand 794 has been procured from Balrampur Forest Division.

Officials of Chhattisgarh State Small Forest Produce Cooperative Union (Trade and Development) informed today that number of standard sacks of tendupatta procured from various places is as follows- 76 thousand 951 standard sacks in Bijapur forest division, 36 thousand 128 standard sacks in Sukma, 13 thousand 183 standard sacks in Dantewada, 24 thousand 491 standard sacks in Jagdanpur, 21 thousand 743 in South Kondagaon, 31 thousand 439 in Keshkal, 22 thousand 572 in Narayanpur.

Similarly, 94 thousand 510 in East Bhanupratappur, 73 thousand 477 in West Bhanupratappur, and 38 thousand 724 standard sacks of tendupatta in Kanker forest division, 74 thousand 864 in Rajnandgaon forest division, 34 thousand 703 sacks in Khairagarh, 22 thousand 182 sacks in Balod, 42 thousand 234 sacks in Kawardha, 28 thousand 394 sacks in Dhamtari, 79 thousand 807 sacks in Gariaband, 81 thousand 986 sacks in Mahasamund, 21 thousand 289 sacks in Balodabazar, 29 thousand 489 sacks in Bilaspur forest division.

Again, 18 thousand 89 sacks in Marwahi, 9 thousand 695 sacks in Janjgir-Champa, 55 thousand 199 sacks in Raigarh, 74 thousand 36 sacks in Dharamjaigarh, 48 thousand 430 sacks in Korba, 65 thousand 129 sacks in Katghora, 38 thousand 434 sacks in Jashpurnagar, 39 thousand 477 sacks in Manendragarh, 35 thousand 787 sacks in Koriya, 33 thousand 524 sacks in Sarguja, one lakh 52 thousand 794 sacls in Balrampur forest division, and 70 thousand 96 sacks of tendupatta in Surajpur.
