In case of sustaining quality of the Pradhanmantri Gram Sadak (PMGSY), after the construction , Chhattisgarh is found way ahead of big cities of the country. Roads were being tested in the last four months in the state which had been constructed under the aforesaid scheme and thereafter Chhattisgarh is ‘Ranked First’ on parameters of the quality and sustenance.
Chhattisgarh is found way ahead from the big cities like Bengaluru in Karnataka. It is informed that in case of road construction and quality sustenance, Chhattisgarh is ahead of many other states. It is noteworthy that ‘National Quality Reviewers’ have inspected the roads constructed under the aforementioned scheme in four months between April to July. Total 204 works have been inspected and 123 roads of various regions were tested. Besides these 14 big bridges and 67 construction works have been tested on parameters of sustenance.
Team of Engineers at departmental level and state level reviewers have tested the roads built under the said scheme. On the basis of these reports and on the instructions of Union Rural Development Ministry, National Quality Reviewers have stamped on the two level reports. It is noteworthy that last year Chhattisgarh was ranked fourth on the quality and sustenance parameters.
