Welcome 3 Will be on Floors Next Year

Welcome's third instalment is set to go on floors early next year. The film stars Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal reprising their roles from the original.

Firoz Nadiadwala production’s Welcome 3 will be getting its third instalment as reported by a leading tabloid.

The movie is set to go on floors in the next year. However, Welcome 3 will not be directed by Anees Bazmee but a new director.

Talking about the project, a source stated to the tabloid, “Anil will continue to play Majnu, Nana returns as Uday Shetty while Paresh plays Dr. Ghunghroo.

While the first two instalments were more about comedy, this one will have action in equal measure. Locations are currently being finalised with shooting schedules also being planned in Tokyo and Osaka.”

The source further said, “They have approached Oscar-winning German composer Hans Zimmer for the background score.”

Zimmer is famous for his works in The Lion King released in the year 1995. He has won Grammy Awards for Crimson Tide (1996) and The Dark Knight (2009).

Talking about the locations of the film, Welcome 3 is likely to be shot at Ground Zero in New York.

About Welcome franchise, the first part starred Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Katrina Kaif, Paresh Rawal, Mallika Sherawat and Feroz Khan.

The film released in the year 2007. While Welcome Back starred John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Shruti Haasan, Paresh Rawal, Dimple Kapadia and Naseeruddin Shah. It was released in 2015. Both were directed by Anees Bazmee.
