On Friday, Mayank was happy to play 2nd fiddle to uncharacteristically aggressive Cheteshwar Pujara. However, after Pujara got out early in the day, Mayank partnered with Ajinkya Rahane and steered India out of trouble.
After he got to his 100, Mayank switched gears and took the Bangladesh attack, especially their spinners, to the cleaners. With 3 sixes and 21 boundaries, Mayank was unbeaten on 156 at Tea on Friday.
