Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said, the existing and emerging challenges to the contemporary international system and global governance architecture deserve serious attention of world leaders, governments, policy makers, corporates and civil societies.
In a series of tweets on his upcoming Davos visit, Mr Modi said, India’s engagement with the outside world in recent years has become truly and effectively multi-dimensional covering the political, economic, people to people, security and other spheres. He said, he is looking forward to share his vision for India’s future engagement with the international community.
Mr Modi will leave tomorrow for Davos to attend the World Economic Forum. He is also scheduled to hold separate bilateral meetings with the President of the Swiss Confederation Alain Berset and Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Lofven. Mr Modi hoped that these bilateral meetings would be fruitful and give a boost to the relations with these countries and further strengthen economic engagement.>
