With another dengue death in Durg, toll climbs to eleven

It is said that dengue has suddenly become a menace for the district and the administration has so far not been able to control it

Yet another dengue death has been reported from Bhilai in Durg district.

The situation is spiraling out of control as eleven deaths have been reported so far.

It is said that dengue has suddenly become a menace for the district and the administration has so far not been able to control it.

While the Chief Secretary Ajay Singh did convene a meeting of officials to assess the situation, there has also been decision of replacing the CMHO Subhash Pandey with Gambhir Singh Thakur.

It is said that while eleven deaths have been reported from this district alone due to dengue, there are close to over 200 under going treatment in different hospitals.

The people are growing increasingly apprehensive as to what the administration is doing in curbing the menace effectively.
