Woman and son survive train passing over them

She straightaway went and lied down on the tracks.

In a rather shocking incident, a woman lied down on railway track with her month and half baby on her chest in Burhanpur district of the Madhya Pradesh.

But what is all the more shocking is that she or her child did not receive even a scratch as the train passed.

It is learnt that the woman had decamped Kashi Express on its way to Mumbai from Gorakhpur.

She straightaway went and lied down on the tracks.

Before any one could intervene, the Pushpak express came at speed of 100 kms per hour and passed on with the woman and child lying there itself.

But the train missed them both completely and they were both found as if nothing had happened.

The passengers and others then intervened and forcibly evicted the woman from the tracks.

When interrogated, she identified herself as Allahabad based Tabassum with Mohammed Sajid as husband.

She had been divorced by her husband causing her mental agony.

It is also said that the woman is mentally unstable and is changing her statements frequently.
