Woman approaches High Court seeking permission to operate husband’s bank account; here’s why

A resident of Navi Mumbai has approached Bombay High Court pleading for permission to operate her husband’s bank account as he is in coma.

She has pleaded that in absence of a special legal provision, the court must order for her to be made conserver of her husband’s bank account so that she withdraws money and affords medical treatment of husband.

The high court had directed the Thane administration to submit a report on medical situation of the person and also that two daughters of this person submit no objection certificate affidavit so that permission may be given.
