Women inmates fell ill, docs suspect food poisoning

In a sensational development, many of the women inmates of the Byculla jail fell ill.

It is said that they were suffering of vomiting and abdominal pain.

Sources claimed that the women started complaining after they had food.

The patients were taken to the nearest JJ Hospital.

The doctors confirmed that apart from dehydration and vomiting, the women patients were also suffering from loose motions.

The prison authorities said that initially two prisoners fell serious.

Initial suspicion is of food poisoning but tests are being carried out to confirm it.
