World Cup 2019: The Silent War of Ind vs Pak Begins on 16th June at Old Trafford Cricket Stadium

India has everything to keep the shine going-a strong top-order, fast bowlers, reliable all-rounders and the magnificent two- M.S Dhoni and Virat Kohli

India was seen putting it’s best foot forward, by winning their first world cup match on 5th June, at The Ageas Bowl Stadium against South Africa. India scooped off the match by 6 wickets. With two world cup titles, India ties with West Indies and the unstoppable Asian men seem to be marching ahead for their third world cup title under skipper Virat Kohli.

World Cup has its own glory, and India has everything to keep the shine going- a strong top-order, fast bowlers, reliable all-rounders and the magnificent two-M.S Dhoni and Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli by no doubt is an excellent player and he already had a great hand, taking India to its win in 2011 World cup, where his top-notch game helped the team not just once, but a multiple time. Although, 2019 World Cup for Virat Kohli is a first in his captaincy career.

Also, having our very own veteran MS Dhoni in his team is an added bonus, since MS has already done it for the country.

In 2011, MS Dhoni helped Sachin Tendulkar to bid adieu to his sensational cricketing career a World Cup glory. Also, there are speculations about Dhoni’s retirement post this World Cup. Will he do it again for himself?

The big India vs Pakistan match

As nail-biting as it gets, the fans can expect a stream of pressure, excitement and rivalry, all at the match that is scheduled to happen on 16th June. Not to forget the 2015 India vs Pakistan match that followed at the Adelaide Stadium. Streets were filled with cricketing fans supporting their respective teams. The stadium was a pool of blue and green garden. Fans holding placards of their favourite players, chanting prayers and singing team chorus, the true fans spirit was all observed at the biggest cricketing frenzy of Ind vs Pak match.

The match not only excites the sportsperson inside us but also ignites a sense of patriotism among the common man, which comes on, looking at the historic relationship the two countries share.

MS Dhoni’s last World Cup?

Soon after MS Dhoni announced his retirement from test cricket, there has been prolonged speculation about his ODI career too.

Fans are at unrest to hear about the truth of his retirement before the World Cup Finals.

India Coach Ravi Shastri admitted to the fact that MS Dhoni is going to play a crucial role at the World Cup 2019.

Virat Kohli lifting his first World Cup as a Captain

At the joint captain’s conference last week in London, when a kid asked the skippers if afforded a chance, which player from the opposition team would they pick in their side, Bangladesh skipper MashrafeMortaza replied, “that guy,” pointing at Virat Kohli.

Kohli has time and again proven himself as a batsman but his captaincy came under scanner after a disastrous IPL season with Royal Challengers Bangalore. Virat Kohli will play a dual role at the 2019 World Cup and will have a golden chance to put an end to all the questions raised on his captaincy.

With cricket being followed as a religion in India, and India vs Pakistan match is the biggest of all matches, having dedicated groups following the team around the world doesn’t come as a surprise. Game anthems were earlier only associated with football but when it comes to India, cricket draws no less attention than a Premier League match.

With India vs Pakistan match in the World being lined up on June 16, we are expecting a series of musical chants at the Old Trafford in Manchester.
