World Music Day : Video Songs, Which of these title tracks is your favourite?

World Music Day 2018: Bepannaah, Ishqbaaaz, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi – shows that won us with their title tracks

The World Music Day is celebrated on June 21 has become a worldwide phenomenon as countries across the world rejoice in their own unique way to celebrate the day.

The day also known as Fete de la Musique was a music festival, which began in France in 1982. French Minister of Culture Jack Lang conceived the idea in 1981.

However, the trend has changed of late and we have some soaps with some outstanding title tracks. For example, the dreamy romantic title tracks of Ishqbaaaz/Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi and the soulful one from Bepannaah.

Producers are taking effort to have an original song that matches the essence of the show. While all the popular romantic, shaadi and even retro songs get played in various sequences and functions, nothing beats original music. Here is a look at some tracks we totally adore…

O Jaana, Ishqbaaaz

The song has cult status amongst the fans of the Ishqbaaaz. O Jaana plays every time Shivaay and Anika get close, especially after a tiff. We also like Lafzon Ka Yeh Rishta the brotherhood song from the superhit show. O Jaana has over 15 million views on YouTube and is an absolute favourite.

Bepannaah title track

The soap is about two people who find love after being cheated on by their partners. So, the soulful number has a lot of pain and sadness. It is beautifully composed and the lyrics really give you the feels. It is a current favourite. Rahul Jain and Roshni Shah are simply wonderful in the song.

Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi

One of the best shows of recent times, had one of the best title tracks. Sung by Indian Idol contestant Antara Mitra, the song quickly caught on with fans of the show. It was played during the romantic, emotional and conflicting times in the lives of Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) and Sona (Erica Fernandes).

Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara

Sung by Nazm Nazm singer Yasser Desai, the song is melodious and haunting. The lyrics stay with you for a long long time. It has over 40 million views on YouTube and brings forth the pain of lovers wonderfully.

Badtameez Dil – Mere Nishaan

Pearl V Puri played a singer so it made sense to have an original song in the show. Crooned by Darshan Rawal, it was on everyone’s lips. With its lyrics, peppy music and soul, it is lit till date.

Jiya Re from Dahleez

Jubin Nautiyal has sung the lovely number, which has a lot of soul. We cannot get over Tridha Choudhary and Harshad Arora’s chemistry in the song.

All these songs are fabulous and will be remembered for a long time.
