Yet another terror attack; Man ‘loyal to IS’ attempts hostage taking in mall

In what is more or less clear to be a terror act again the north west France, it is said that there is one gunman who has claimed allegiance to the Islamic State and even raised slogans ‘Allahu Akbar’ as he attempted hostage taking in a shopping mall.

The intent of the terror suspect is clear as he is now known to have asked for release of Paris November 2015 attacker Salah Abdeslam.

In so far as the demand of the attacker is concerned, it has been reported this by certain sections of the international media.

It need be known that Abdeslam is the prime surviving suspect in the attacks in Paris that killed 130 people.

Meanwhile French government at its most senior level is monitoring the case as it unfolds.

French authorities have now more or less confirmed that the incident is indeed a terror act.

There has however no confirmation officially as to what could be number of victims in the gunfire of the attacker but the speculation is that it could be at least two.

Sources said that the accused man entered the Super U supermarket at around 11.15 am and shots were heard.

Local administration has warned people from visiting the area of action needlessly.

The French Interior Ministry said on its Twitter account that police and rescue operations are the priority. Authorities in the Aude region are warning people to avoid the area around the supermarket
